Creating Smart Lists
Outline
Watch this tutoral to learn more about the different working parts of a smart list:
Our videos below will walk you through creating your smart lists using three different filter types:
- Contact Field Filter
- Interaction History Filter
- Contact List Filter
The Contact Field filter
The contact field filter allows you to filter by a piece of information in the client's profile, such as last name, phone number, state, gender, membership status, etc.
The Interaction History filter
The interaction history filter allows you to filter by client action, such as a recent booking for a specific service, a purchase, if the client called or texted recently, provided feedback, etc.
The Contact List filter
The contact list filter uses the lists already created for you. This allows you to combine two or more lists into a new list, or add filters to an existing list
As you can see, there are endless possibilities to the information that you can instruct the system to look for. The key is to give your site the right instructions on what to search for.
When in doubt, do as we did in the earlier examples and use the sub filters, operators, and values to build sentences that resemble your end goal.
It will help you achieve the logic that the system best understands.
