Learning Objectives
You will have clients who cancel classes AFTER the cancellation window has passed. If the client is not marked as Signed in then that would be considered a Late Cancel on the Class Roster, the MINDBODY system will automatically deduct one session from their package if we click on Late Cancel. For any clients you would rather charge a fee for, you will want to use this pricing option to charge them a Late Class Cancellation fee. Here you will learn how to process a Late Class Cancellation Fee.
Step 1 : Review Class Roster for any clients NOT signed in
Reviewing the class roster below, if a client does not have the Signed In box checked then they are considered a No Show unless they are marked as Late Cancel. Identify which clients need to be charged for a Late Cancel.
Step 2 : Add Pricing Option to Ticket
Pull up the Retail page and search for a client. Add the pricing option Late Class Cancellation from Services section (RETAIL >> SERVICES >> ILKB CLASSES >> LATE CLASS CANCELLATION)
Step 3 : Adjust pricing and Add Item
You are able to add notes to reflect which class this charge was associated with.
Step 4 : Select Payment method and Complete the Sale
Step 5 : Early Cancel Client from Class
Return to to the class roster and Early Cancel clients who have been charged for Late Cancellation. If this step is skipped, the client will have a session removed from their available sessions.
